Course Starting – 28 October 2023
Cupping Massage provides the massage therapist with a new way of treating patients/clients, for example, when clients have a cold or have flu-like symptoms, therapists often discourage clients to come in or the client themselves do not feel like to coming in. This means loss of income to you. Cupping massage will give the therapist the skills to actually deal with these symptoms because we work in the way that Traditional Chinese Medicine approaches healing with acupuncture. Cups can be placed on acupuncture points which encourage healing not only with cold and flu-like symptoms, the list of conditions is endless from muscular pain, increasing blood circulation to psychological well-being.
Cupping Massage gives the therapist a unique way of working with clients/patients who suffer from muscle pain. How often have we had clients who cower away when you start massaging them, even when you use the slightest pressure. This is where cupping massage comes in. We do not apply downwards pressure with cupping but the reverse. We lift the tissues up and bring blood into the injured areas which encourages instant healing. At the same time the muscle tissue receives a deep tissue massage as the suction of cupping can reach deep into the tissue of the body.
